Jai has been a practising Chartered Accountant for several years practicing in Kanpur city before joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) as Deputy Director (Technical) in charge of various initiatives in areas of Institute Governance, Information Technology and Insurance. He left ICAI in year 2002 to set up his own consulting business in Delhi, later he became Director Incharge of Delhi office of the firm.
